Appliance Rebate Programs to Launch in the Spring...Hopefully

It looks like we may have to wait until spring for the Appliance Rebate program to take effect. States have a deadline of October 15, 2009 to submit their plans to the Department of Energy outlining how their programs will work, what products will qualify and the rebate amounts for each product.

However even with the deadline quickly approaching, experts are expecting it to take months for states to actually get their programs together, test them out and for the Department of Energy to sign off on them.
